Find a verified visa agent.
Anywhere in Africa.
Every consultant on Agenvia is vetted — government ID, business records, references — before they can post. Browse, message, and connect with agents you can trust.
We verify the agent. We don't process payments, hold deposits, or take part in your agreement. What happens after the introduction is between you and them.

What Agenvia is —
and what it isn't.
The clearer we are about this, the safer you'll be using the platform.
What we do
- We verify every agent before they can post
- We let you message agents safely and privately
- We collect reports of bad behaviour and act on them
- We publish a quarterly transparency report
What we don't do
- We don't issue visas — only embassies do
- We don't process payments — that's between you and the agent
- We don't hold deposits or escrow funds
- We don't guarantee application outcomes
- We don't take a percentage of agent fees
Treat Agenvia like a verified directory, not a payment platform. Verify the agent here. Then handle the work directly with them — written agreement, traceable payment, and your own due diligence.
Across Africa, finding a real visa agent is broken.
Across the continent, applicants find visa agents through unmoderated WhatsApp, Instagram, and Telegram chats. Until now, there was no way to tell a real consultant from a fraudster.
Lost to visa scams in Nigeria alone (2024)
Across Africa, thousands of applicants lose money every year to fake agents operating on unmoderated chat platforms.
Ways to verify agents on WhatsApp
No platform exists to verify a visa agent's credentials. Anyone can claim to be a professional immigration consultant.
African visa applicants report being scammed
The surge in emigration interest across the continent has created the perfect environment for fake agents to operate.
Statistics are aggregated from publicly available reports on emigration fraud in Nigeria (2023–2025). Agenvia does not own the underlying data.
“We built Agenvia because verification should come before the introduction — not after the damage is done.”

From search to a safe
conversation in 4 steps
Like the WhatsApp chat you already know — except every agent is verified, and the deal stays between you and them.
Browse Verified Agents
Filter by destination country, visa type, price range. Every agent you see has been reviewed — no unverified accounts can post.
Check Verification Tier
See exactly how each agent was verified — Document Verified (Tier 1) or Office Verified (Tier 2). Read reviews from real users who worked with them.
Message Directly & Securely
Send a private message request to any agent. Your conversation is encrypted end-to-end. Agents can only respond — they can never cold-message you first.
Take it from there
Once you've connected, your agreement is between you and the agent. Agenvia doesn't process payments, hold deposits, or take part in your agreement. What happens after the introduction is between you and them. Always agree terms in writing before paying.
Verification isn't a feature.
It's the whole product.
Trust checks built into every interaction — from sign-up to scam report.
Mandatory Verification
Every agent submits government-issued ID, business registration, and reference letters before any advert can go live. No exceptions.
Encrypted Private Chat
Users initiate all conversations. Agents can only respond. End-to-end encrypted. Your phone number is never shared publicly.
Verified User Reviews
Only users who clicked 'I worked with this agent' can leave a review. Real ratings from real clients you can actually trust.
Two Verified Tiers
Public Channel for all verified agents. Verified-Only Channel for agents who passed full office confirmation. Users always know the trust level.
Instant Scam Reporting
Report any agent in 2 taps. One fraud report triggers immediate review. Three confirmed reports = permanent ban, no exceptions.
Direct Agreements
You deal with the agent directly. Agenvia doesn't process payments, hold deposits, or take a percentage of what you pay an agent. We just make sure the person you're talking to is who they say they are.
Two ways to get verified.
One bar nobody can skip.
Document Verification opens across Africa from launch. Office Verification (in-person) rolls out market by market — Nigeria first, then Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa.
Document Verified
Tier 1 — Teal Badge
Open across Africa from day one. Fully remote — no in-person visit needed. For independent consultants and home-based professionals.
- Government-issued ID (NIN, Passport, or Driver's License)
- CAC registration certificate or TIN letter
- Signed agent declaration form
- Two client reference letters with contact details
- Professional LinkedIn or website URL
Verification reflects this agent's documented status at the time of review. Agenvia cannot monitor an agent's conduct between annual re-verification cycles — always run your own checks before paying.
Admin reviews within 5 business days
Physically Verified
Tier 2 — Gold Badge
For agents with registered offices. Our team visits in person to confirm. Available in Nigeria at launch — expanding country by country.
- All Tier 1 documents
- Proof of physical office address
- In-person visit by Agenvia team
- Minimum 3 office interior photos
- Annual re-verification required
In-person visit — Nigeria only at launch
Annual Re-Verification Required
All agents must renew credentials yearly. 3 fraud reports = permanent platform ban.
Quarterly Transparency Report
Public report on verifications, suspensions, and platform trust metrics.
What our early users are saying
Early voices from our Nigeria pilot. Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa next.
“I'd been scammed twice on WhatsApp before I found Agenvia. The verified badge was the first time I felt safe even reaching out to an agent. The platform did exactly what it said it would — let me talk to someone real.”
Accountant, Lagos
“Fake agents have been the biggest threat to consultants who do this work properly. Agenvia's verification finally gives serious clients a way to tell us apart. The platform has been a meaningful source of qualified enquiries.”
Immigration Consultant, Abuja
“I work from home and was worried I wouldn't qualify. The Document Verification tier was made for consultants like me. I'm finally being seen as legitimate by clients who would have skipped past me.”
Freelance Visa Consultant, Kano
“I needed help with a Canada study visa enquiry. I filtered, found a verified agent, and started a real conversation the same day. The structure of the app made it feel safe in a way WhatsApp never did.”
Graduate Student, Port Harcourt
Reviews are written by users who confirmed they hired the agent. Agenvia does not author, endorse, or independently verify the content of individual reviews. Outcomes depend on each application — Agenvia does not guarantee visa results and does not process payments between users and agents.
The questions everyone asks
Especially the ones about money, recourse, and where Agenvia's responsibility ends.
Does Agenvia hold my money or process payments to the agent?
No — and this is important. Agenvia is a discovery and messaging platform. We verify that agents are who they claim to be, and we let you message them safely. We do not process payments, hold deposits in escrow, take a percentage of agent fees, or get involved in your agreement. Once you decide to work with an agent, the contract, payment, and outcome are entirely between you and them. Always insist on a written agreement before paying anything, and only pay through traceable channels — your bank, official agent invoices — never anonymous transfers.
What happens if a verified agent disappears or fails to deliver?
Report them in two taps from the chat screen. We will investigate, freeze the account during review, and remove the agent if reports are confirmed. We also publish suspensions in our quarterly transparency report. However, because Agenvia did not handle your payment, we cannot refund you directly. Your recovery options are with your bank, your local consumer protection authority, or law enforcement. This is exactly why verifying the agent before you pay matters — and why we built the platform around that step.
Why doesn't Agenvia handle payments?
Two reasons. First, holding money for visa transactions across multiple African countries would require us to be a licensed payment processor or escrow service in each market — adding cost, complexity, and risk that benefits nobody. Second, keeping payments outside the platform keeps subscription fees low for agents, who can pass that on to you. Agenvia stays focused on what we do well: making sure the agent you're talking to is real.
Who is responsible if something goes wrong?
Each party is responsible for their own conduct. Agents are responsible for the advice they give and the work they do — they are independent professionals, not Agenvia employees. Users are responsible for their own due diligence, the agreements they sign, and the payments they make. Agenvia is responsible for verifying agents at the point of admission and for acting on confirmed reports of misconduct. We are not responsible for the outcome of any agent-user transaction or for the result of any visa application.
What does 'verified' actually mean?
Every agent submits government-issued ID, business registration, reference letters, and a signed declaration before any advert can go live. Tier 2 agents are also visited in person at their registered office by the Agenvia team. Verification badges show you exactly which tier each agent has reached.
Is the app free for visa applicants?
Yes. Browsing agents, reading reviews, messaging, and reporting are currently free for applicants. Our business model relies on subscription fees from agents who want to post adverts on the platform.
Which countries does Agenvia work in?
We're launching in Nigeria first. Document verification (Tier 1) will open across Africa from launch. In-person Office Verification (Tier 2) rolls out market by market — Nigeria first, then Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa. Join the waitlist for your country and we'll notify you the moment we go live.
What information does Agenvia actually verify?
We verify (a) that the agent is a real person matching their government-issued ID, (b) that any business they claim to operate is registered, (c) that two reference contacts confirm having worked with them, and (d) for Tier 2 agents, that a physical office exists at the address provided. We do NOT verify the agent's success rate, the accuracy of their advice, the fairness of their fees, or their conduct in any single client engagement. Verification reflects identity and legitimacy at the time of review — not future behaviour.
How long does verification take for agents?
Tier 1 (Document Verified) is typically reviewed within 5 business days. Tier 2 (Office Verified) takes longer because it requires an in-person visit — currently available in Nigeria only at launch.
Is Agenvia connected to any embassy or government?
No. Agenvia is a private company with no affiliation, partnership, or endorsement from any embassy, consulate, immigration authority, or government agency. We cannot expedite applications, influence decisions, or grant any official status. If anyone tells you otherwise — including someone claiming to represent Agenvia — they are lying. Report them at agenvia.com/report.
