Agenvia never asks for payment, OTPs, or bank details outside the app. We are not a government agency. Anyone contacting you on WhatsApp or Telegram claiming to be Agenvia is impersonating us.

Delete your Agenvia account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Enter the phone number on your Agenvia account and we will send you a 6-digit code by SMS to confirm the request.

Include your country code. Nigerian numbers start with +234.

What is deleted

  • Your phone number and email address are removed from our systems and released for re-registration
  • Your password is destroyed
  • You are signed out on every device immediately and can no longer sign in
  • Your profile stops being visible to other users on Agenvia

What is kept, and for how long

  • A minimal, de-identified account record is retained for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal/accounting obligations. It no longer contains your phone number, email, or password.
  • Transaction and payment records are retained for 6 years, the period required by Nigerian company and tax law — longer only where fraud is suspected.
  • If you are an agent, your verification documents are retained for 5 years after your account closes, under Nigerian anti-money-laundering law.
  • Messages you sent remain visible to the people you sent them to, shown without your personal details. Messaging metadata is typically kept for 12 months unless flagged for a safety investigation.

Deactivate instead of delete

If you would rather pause your account than delete it, you can deactivate it in the app under Settings → Account; signing in again reactivates it. Deactivating hides your profile but keeps your data — only the form above deletes your account.
